A week from today, I will be loading the U-Haul and getting ready to move to Santa Rosa, CA. Ten days from today, I will be arriving there - OMG, WHAT AM I DOING! Don't worry, my pangs of panic go away quickly as I get closer to Santa Rosa.
I have been blessed with friends in both places (Denver and Santa Rosa) who are helping me move things into storage, loading the truck, bringing healthy dinners and encouragement. Friends who have helped work out the logistics of moving from a 3 bdrm/2 bath townhome to a 1 bdrm/1 bath apartment; by the time I'm done planning, selling things on craigslist, giving things away, and organizing myself, I may be able to move into an RV and have room to spare. Well, not quite - for those of you who know me well, I would need an extra RV for my sewing and craft stuff ... not to forget my books. I'll stick with the 1 bdrm apartment for now :)
I am creating this blog as an opportunity to share this adventure with family and friends until I have my feet on the ground in Santa Rosa. I am thankful for each and every one of you!
